NDCS Young People's Advisory Board Recruitment

Do you know a deaf young person aged 13-16?

The National Deaf Children's Society is looking for 18 deaf young people to join our next Young People's Advisory Board.

Our members would work with us to find out what's important to deaf children and young people so we understand what they want and need from us!

Do you know a deaf young person who would be great at sharing their views and representing others? Or, maybe it's you! Applicants must be aged 13-16 to apply, and live within the UK.

YoungEyes Christmas Party

Date: Saturday December 9th 2017 - 2pm to 4.30pm.

Where: The NNAB Bradbury Activity Centre Beckham Place, off Edward Street, Norwich. NR3 3DZ

Our theme this year is all things Gingerbread

Have fun with The Abracadabra Magic Disco, make your own decoration, ice a Gingerbread biscuit, enjoy a scrumptious Christmas Party Tea and talk to Father Christmas and his friends!

We would love to see you. As numbers are restricted for our venue, each vision-impaired young person is welcome to bring their brothers and sisters and up to two adult family members.

Please let me know by November 22nd if you can come and the number in your family group, so that we can cater correctly.

Please note that parking on the site will be limited to wheel chair users only but there are public car parks nearby.

YoungEyes Summer Activities

YoungEyes has had lots of fun this summer. We 

have sailed on the Waveney Stardust and discovered the Ice Cream Boat on Barton Broad. Samba Day was great fun when we welcomed Norwich Samba Band, again there was delicious ice cream!    

For all families with vision-impaired little ones under 5, Rainbow Sparks Group is a fun place to be! Sessions are held on the fourth Thursday morning of each month, 10.30am to 12 noon in The Bradbury Activity Centre. Come along for Music and games with  Musical Keys and visit the Rainbow Sensory Room.
